CBA were commissioned by Moorfield via Resonance Capital to provide full Quantity Surveying services for the internal refurbishment of the AQ3 office building in the heart of Glasgow’s International Financial Services district.
The works comprise the refurbishment of the existing building and reinstating to a high quality, marketable, landlords shell fit out to industry recognised CAT A specification. The open plan office floor plates across several floors total 80,000sqft of lettable space. The works included wholesale strip out and replacement of all building M&E services, infrastructure and renewal of same as well as an extensive refurbishment of landlords areas, toilets and reception etc.
Following on from the CAT A works, CBA were then commissioned to negotiate the CAT B fit out works for the incoming public sector tenant which included driving a new lift and stair core through the existing building, a full fit, out to an exceptionally high quality standard of all open plan office areas, individual offices, staff areas, meeting and conference facilities, secure areas, tribunal and courtrooms etc across the full 80,000 sqft.
